Lifeguard
Primary Responsibilities (Safety Focused):
** Constantly monitoring the pool area and supervising swimmers to prevent accidents and ensure safety. This includes observing for signs of distress, enforcing pool rules, and responding quickly to emergencies.
** Providing immediate and appropriate first aid and CPR in the event of an accident or injury. This may involve using rescue equipment and contacting emergency medical services.
** Performing rescues and using appropriate techniques to safely remove distressed swimmers from the water.
** Enforcing pool rules and regulations, including those related to appropriate swim attire, diving restrictions, and maximum capacity.
** Regularly checking the cleanliness and safety of the pool area, including monitoring chemical levels (if applicable), identifying and reporting hazards, and ensuring that equipment is in good working order.
Hotel-Specific Responsibilities:
** Providing excellent customer service to hotel guests by answering questions, informing them about pool rules and amenities, and addressing any concerns they may have.
** Assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of the pool area, including picking up debris, cleaning pool decks, and maintaining equipment.
** Completing daily reports on pool conditions, incidents, and maintenance needs.
Inventory Management:** Managing pool supplies, such as towels, flotation devices, and first-aid supplies.
** Collaborating with other hotel staff, including housekeeping, front desk, and management.
** Understanding and adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
