Position Overview:
 
The Hotel Group Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the procurement activities for a hotel group, ensuring cost-effective purchasing of goods and services while maintaining quality standards and fostering supplier relationships.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to maximize value and ensure competitive pricing for hotel goods and services.
Supplier Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to benefit the hotel group.
Budget Management:
Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals and cost management.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, new products, and potential suppliers, continually assessing opportunities for improvements.
Policy Development:
Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures that align with the hotel group’s goals and compliance requirements.
Inventory Oversight:
Ensure effective inventory management practices are in place, optimizing stock levels and minimizing waste.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with various departments (e.g., operations, finance, catering) to determine specific procurement needs and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Performance Metrics:
Establish performance metrics to evaluate supplier performance and compliance, conducting regular assessments and audits.
Sustainability Initiatives:
Identify and implement sustainable procurement practices, focusing on environmentally friendly products and suppliers.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support to enhance professional development and operational efficiency.
 
Qualifications:
   **  Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

   **  Previous experience in procurement, preferably in the hospitality industry.
   **  Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
   **  Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
   **  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
