Reports to: Snack Bar Manager/Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Snack Bar Employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, prepare snacks and beverages, and maintain a clean and organized snack bar area. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide information about menu items and daily specials.
Food Preparation: Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and light meals according to established recipes and hygiene standards.
Cash Handling: Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handle payments, and manage the cash register.
Bar Maintenance: Keep the snack bar area clean and organized, including restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and washing dishes.
Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Team Collaboration: Work alongside other team members to ensure efficient service and a friendly atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a team.
Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
